We honor Rev. Wade H. Huntley for nearly 60 years of faithful service to God and our church. His faithful legacy of preaching continues to echo in our hearts today! Preacher Wade pastored Holly Springs Baptist Church from November 1955 until passing home to Heaven in July of 2015. The church grew tremendously under his leadership both numerically and spiritually. His many accomplishments include the construction of two church buildings, two pastoriums, Holly Springs Senior Citizens Home, and WWOL Radio. He preached many revivals and camp meetings across the southeast and was moderator of the Blue Ridge Baptist Camp Meeting in Hendersonville, NC from 1986 to 2014. Brother Wade had weekly radio broadcasts on several local stations. His life story is found in the book entitled “Waking the Sleeping Giant” which may be viewed and read below. He was a giant himself to us, truly a man sent from God. We hope you will take time to enjoy some of the preaching clips listed below.
